This Privacy Policy explains how Cromulent, Inc. (“Cromulent,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information when you visit cromulent.ly, use the Cromulent service, or otherwise interact with us.

Information we collect

Information you provide. When you join our waitlist, sign up for an account, or contact us, you may share information such as your email address, name, company, and any messages you send us.

Information from your ESP. When you connect Cromulent to an email service provider such as Klaviyo, we access audience segments, campaign metadata, and engagement and conversion data that you authorize us to read. We do not sell, share, or repurpose this data.

Usage information. We collect technical information about how you use our site and service, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and actions taken. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Vercel Analytics) and do not use third-party advertising trackers.

How we use information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Cromulent service.
• To generate optimized marketing copy and learn patterns specific to your audience.
• To communicate with you about your account, product updates, and relevant news.
• To detect abuse, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with service providers that help us operate the service (e.g., cloud hosting on AWS, email delivery) under written confidentiality and security obligations; when required by law; or with your consent.

We never share your data with other customers. Models trained on your data are used only for your account.

Data security

We encrypt data in transit and at rest, restrict access on a need-to-know basis, and follow industry-standard security practices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information with commercially reasonable measures.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. You may request deletion at any time by emailing privacy@cromulent.ly.

Children

Cromulent is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

International transfers

Cromulent is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other jurisdictions.
